About Epoxy Flooring Bloomington
Epoxy Flooring Bloomington coats concrete floors in Bloomington, Indiana and the towns around it. Our work is garages, basements, workshops, pole barns and commercial floors. We install epoxy, polyaspartic, flake and metallic systems, and we decide which one fits after we have stood on your slab.
South-central Indiana concrete has its own habits. Winters here swing above and below freezing, so slabs near the garage door take a beating. Summers are wet and humid, so basement floors can carry moisture. Much of Monroe County sits on limestone karst, and settling or cracked slabs are common. A coating has to be planned around all of that.
What working with us looks like
- We visit, measure the floor and test it for moisture.
- We note cracks, spalling, oil, old paint or sealer, and any spots where water collects.
- You get a written quote listing the system, the number of coats, the prep work and the total.
- On install day we grind the concrete with diamond tooling and collect the dust with a vacuum.
- Cracks and chipped joints are filled before the first coat.
- When we finish, you get written times for foot traffic, moving things back and parking.
- If we find something that changes the scope, we write it up and wait for your OK.
We only coat concrete. We do not coat wood, tile or vinyl. If a slab is heaving, leaking or cracked from movement that is still going on, we tell you before you pay for a floor that would not last.
